Our new widget for the status bar is currently available only for Android 4+ devices. We will add support for older Android versions in the future.
On Android 4.0 devices, we cannot put our status-bar widget without putting an icon on the notification bar. On Android 4.1 we can avoid that, that's why there's no notification icon on Android 4.1 devices.
Removing the status-bar widget is easy. Just go to the menu
→ settings → preferences and set the 'Status-Bar' option to 'Hide'. The settings page is also accessible from Any.do's menu.

To force a sync, make sure you kill the app (delete it from the task manager) before checking it on the chrome extension. Same goes with the chrome app, make sure you close the broswer before checking it on Any.do. This will ensure everything is synced!
The best way to force a sync is to kill your app. This can be done by deleting it from the task manager.
Tap on the main menu
, then tap settings and you will see the theme color selector. Tap on the color you wish to use. Regular users have 1 theme option, Premium users have 4 theme options.

The reason for this is that limitations apply to apps installed on the SD card by the Android operation system. One of those limitations is not being able to schedule alerts, which is a core feature for a successful To-Do list. We are working on a workaround for that problem, and we'll update all of our users as soon as we get this done.
You can find an 'Import from Astrid' button under settings → preferences. Make sure you have Astrid installed and that all your tasks are available in Astrid before importing.

Now with the Chrome Extension, getting tasks done is easier than ever! Your handheld device syncs with your Chrome Extension through our cloud server, so wherever you go, your task list will be up to date! With the Chrome Extension you can also right click on any web page, select the "Later" option and the current URL will be added to your list for later review. In addition, you can also select a portion of text and follow the same procedure to add that selection to your list.
Click on the gray "+" sign next to a group, then type in your task and press enter or press the "+" button to the right.
Yes! Make sure you are signed in to Any.do then open your email (using the same address you are signed in with). Email your tasks to do@any.do (the subject line would become the task and the email body will become the notes). Press Send & you're done!
Simply click on a task and you can start editing! Press enter or click on your text to save the edit.
Click on a task and the task quick menu bar will appear. Click on "notes" and type in your text. Press enter to add another note.
Click on a task then click on the notes button. Click on the note you want to edit and start editing. Press enter to confirm.
Simply click the gray check mark to the left of the task or note.
Simply click again on the grey check mark to the left of the task or note.
After you have marked a task as complete, click on the "x" button to the right.
Simply click the trash can at the top menu bar, and all your completed tasks will clear.
You can sort your tasks manually by dragging and dropping them to rearrange their order or move to a different group. You can also sort by a pre-defined sorting method such as folder or date.
At the moment, we do not support sync of the order between devices. We will consider this for the future.
The tasks that appear in the "Upcoming" section are tasks that contain a date other than today or tomorrow. These tasks will automatically move up to "Tomorrow" when 'tomorrow's' date has been reached. If no date has been set, they will move to tomorrow at the begining of the week. The tasks that appear in the "Someday" section are tasks that are not associated with a date.
The best way to force a sync is to kill the app.
Click on a task then click on the "folder" button. Click on "new folder," type in your folder name, and then press enter.
Click on a task then click on the "folder" button. Then click on the "x" button to the right of a folder. All tasks in that folder will be moved to the “Personal” folder. You cannot delete the "Personal" folder, as it is the default folder.
Click on a task then click on the reminder button. From there you can set a date, a time, and an alarm for your task. When finished click the "back" button.
Simply click on the task and click on the reminder. Reset any alarm, date or time as you wish and click the "back" button. To turn off the alarm, make sure the alarm is set to "off."
This feature is not available on chrome
Because chrome doesnt support repeating tasks, marking a recurring task as complete on chrome will delete its recurrence. Make sure you only mark recurring reminders as complete on your mobile device.
