Yep, you read that right. Any.do is officially one of the top most used productivity apps in America. Not only that, it’s actually one of the top 10.

How do we know? Periodically, analytics company SimilarWeb releases reports about top used apps in different countries. They have a unique ranking system they call the App Usage Index – which ranks apps by their total usage volume. Instead of looking at store rank, SimilarWeb shows a ranking based on the number of devices that actually have an app installed and its active and engaged users.

This is great news for us, because it means people are really benefiting from our app and love using it. It’s not just that millions of users are installing the app…it’s that millions of people are discovering a new way to be productive at a massive scale.

According to SimilarWeb’s data, Any.do is one of the most used apps in the United States, especially in the productivity category. If you’re wondering what kinds of apps constitute as productivity apps, think Microsoft Outlook, and the ubiquitous alarm clock, which were also list toppers. We are so excited that millions of people are making Any.do a part of their daily lives.

To check out for yourself, go to SimilarWeb’s App Usage Index and see all kinds of insights into any app’s performance. For example, in many countries Facebook is the most used free app. But not in India – WhatsApp Messenger takes the lead. These are just a few of the insights you can get from the app index, but the key takeaway is this: Any.do is winning in terms of keeping users engaged. Keep on doing, productive people!
